Over the years, we at Ullinge have had the great pleasure and honor of hosting a whole bunch of fantastic wedding parties. Hear what some of our brides and grooms have to say about their big day and why they chose to hold one of life's most important celebrations with us at Ullinge.

On a sunny July day, about a month after one of their biggest and most important days in their lives, we had the honor of once again welcoming one of our fantastic brides, Therése & Conny, to our Ullinge. Together we had a lovely chat where everything from their dreams for their wedding day to the storm of love and all the fantastic memories they had after the big day, was discussed. Yes, we have! But of course you still feel a bit like you're floating on little clouds and are in the famous "wedding bubble" after such a fantastic day and memorable experience.
When you sat at the honors table and heard the happy murmuring from everyone and saw that everyone was having such a great time, just the way we wanted it to be.
For us, the table placement was very important and it was, of course, redone several times during the planning process. Precisely because we wanted everyone who would sit at the same table to have something in common that they could talk and socialize kring. We succeeded very well with that, we feel, and for us it was, as I said, a very important part of the day.
In the bar during the evening, we also chose to have the "Bride's drink" and the "Groom's toast", two wonderfully nice and fun details that our guests really appreciated.
It even became better. We started our wedding day out here at Ullinge where we got ready in separate rooms. To keep our energy levels up, we had ordered fruit, drinks and lunch, which worked out perfectly and was really smart.
With us throughout the day by our side we had our incredibly talented photographer and videographer from Östersund, Northern Visuals, who came down the day before the wedding. The whole day was photographed and filmed from morning to evening, with a "First look" down at Ullinge's pier. What a moment!
Therése & Conny say that they had been planning their wedding for about two years and they had a lot of details that had to be perfect before the big day, such as a wedding booklet with subtle comments from all the guests, small candy packages, balloons and other exciting decorations such as a photo booth and a dessert table. All so that the overall look of the day would be "top notch" and exactly as they always wanted and imagined.
WHERE THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR BIG DAY
For us, there were of course an incredible number of factors that played a role when choosing our wedding destination. The choice of Ullinge was due to the fantastic location, the beautiful premises, the accommodation options and the whole romantically cozy environment of kring Ullinge.
Our first contact with Sara, Ullinge's wedding coordinator, felt so great and we received such a lovely welcome, which made us feel that this was exactly right for us. Both Sara and Nadja, restaurant manager at Ullinge, were very helpful and accommodating throughout the process and all the ideas that we had and received during the planning process were easy to discuss with them, which we naturally appreciated very much.
To soak up the atmosphere and take in the place, we invited our host couple and bridal party here about a year before the wedding. Together we ate well and were able to plan and brainstorm ideas with each other in peace and quiet for the big day.
Everything was planned down to the smallest detail and the driving schedule was on time and it all turned into a wonderfully memorable experience. Considering that we and many of our guests slept over, we had a joint breakfast the next day where we chose to open our presents and also had a game that we didn't have time for on the wedding day. A perfect extension of the big day!
Both agree with one resounding yes that they were more than met and even exceeded, everyone was very satisfied and happy, which is of course the goal of a fantastic wedding day. Therése also adds that even the staff here at Ullinge mentioned that it was a really nice wedding with a wonderfully lovely atmosphere. And all the guests praised the food several times, which of course was super fun. Being able to deliver magically delicious food to our wedding guests was like the icing on the cake.
The whole concept. The staff had everything under control, the food, the service, the entire driving schedule for the day. For us, it was a huge sense of security to know that you have this experience of weddings and events at Ullinge. Everything was so beautifully arranged with fancy china, nice table setting and a very festive atmosphere. You felt a bit like royalty during the day and it was so solemn and beautiful. Just as we wanted it and of course we would have loved to relive all the wonderful things again!
Save the gift opening for the day after and do it at a shared wedding breakfast with your guests. A fun game to continue afterwards is also recommended, as everyone is still in the party mood.
We thought the whole idea of staying overnight at the wedding destination was great. It allowed our wedding guests to depart and go to bed in peace and quiet when it suited them. And the next day we got to enjoy your lovely breakfast together.
